SNAP Organic CSA Farm Share Sign Up

We are happy to offer the Oregon Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/Oregon Trail Card) to families in the metro area. It means that the most healthful, nutrient rich, freshest organic foods can be enjoyed by those who potentially may need it the most.  Unfortunately, we are not authorized to offer SNAP CSA memberships to anyone receiving SNAP cash benefits.  If you are receiving SNAP cash for purchases not otherwise covered, SNAP cannot cover the cost of a CSA membership.

Love Farm Organics CSA share week 19, 2014

The essence of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA’s) is based on farmers receiving financial support from share-holders/members for farming costs naturally accrued in the off-season when money is otherwise not coming in. The SNAP- CSA Member will instead be making monthly payments throughout the season, based on the date the funds become available. Along with the SNAP-CSA-members initial deposit, the monthly payments should make your share be purchased in full by the end of October.

If if you, or anyone in your household, was not a member of any CSA in 2016, you may qualify for this year’s DoubleUp Food Bucks program!  See the DoubleUp Food Bucks box, below, for more information.
